Conventional Lighting
Luminous Designs, Inc. utilizes an extensive inventory of conventional lighting fixtures. Conventional lighting fixtures are considered conventional if you can only control the brightness of the fixture during the show. Prior to the show, these fixtures can be focused and a color can be chosen by adding a piece of Gel paper. Gels can be chosen from manufacturers such as Lee and Rosco. We have a wide variety of the most common Gels in stock. Some of the conventional lighting fixtures can also project Gobos. Gobos are glass or metal objects inserted into the beam to create patterns of light on walls, floors, and other scenic elements.
The picture below shows 575 watt lekos projecting yellow brick patterns on the floor and par 38's with emerald gels up light the truss towers.
