Gobos

The use of Gobos can enhance the decor of an event by creating great visuals on walls, floors, backdrops and other scenic elements.  In some cases, they can even replace the decor.  The appearance of the gobo projection can be modified with the addition of gels or the zoom and focus capabilities of the lighting fixture.  This allows for exceptional design flexibility. Gobos are ideal for events like weddings, corporate events, meetings and exhibits.  Custom gobos can be created utilizing text, company logos or artwork designed for your events theme.

Most gobos are made from metal because they are cost effective to make.  Images are cut much like a stencil leaving very small tabs to hold the image together.  As you can imagine, the detail level is limited.  High quality images require the use of more expensive glass gobos.  Glass gobos act like a blank canvas.  Almost anything can be transferred onto glass gobos including images with up to 20,000 dot per inch resolution, 35 mm slides and photographs.
